Considering this our 3rd time out of 4 years in Tempe, I think our ticket demand is outstanding. Notre Dame's ticket demand isn't that much higher than ours, who has the national following again??
Irish, Buckeyes fans eager for a warm Fiesta

[FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Notre Dame and Ohio State fans will follow their teams anywhere, and Arizona has been a popular destination for both schools in recent years.
When the teams meet in the Jan. 2 Fiesta Bowl, it will be Ohio State's third trip to Sun Devil Stadium in four years, and Notre Dame's third stop in the Valley in five years.

Each school has an allotment of 15,000 tickets, and that wasn't even close to the number of fans clamoring for seats: Notre Dame had almost 46,000 requests, and 35,000 Ohio State fans wanted tickets.
"The demand has been unbelievable," said Shawn Schoeffler, the Fiesta Bowl's vice president of media relations. "I don't think we've ever had ticket requests like this before. I think the reason is the history of the schools and the fact that they haven't played each other many times.
