The issue at hand is the handling of bye weeks for the Championship Week/Consolation Games. (The period of Week 12 & 13)

What should we do with players that have byes in Week 12, 13 or 14. There are 3 options:

Option A - Bye weeks are part of college, If you have a player on bye in either Week 12 or 13, tough luck

Option B - If you have a player with a Bye in Week 12, 13 or 14, but plays in 2 of those weeks, you can use those 2 weeks. IE player plays in Week 12 & 14, his stats for week 12 & 14 count OR if your player has a bye in Week 12, you can use Week 13 & 14 stats.

Option C - A Combo of Option A & B - Week 12 is a mandatory week, ie if your player has a bye that week tough shit. But, if your player has a bye in Week 13, you may use Week 14.

I will be sending a PM to everyone to chime in on this. You can either vote for your option via a reply in this thread or via PM.

To update on the vote on what to do with byes during the playoffs. It is a really close vote so far, still waiting on 2 people to vote. I just PM'd them so hopefully we can get this done this week.

Got the two votes... Now for the fun... cuz we have a tie... kinda

The vote is:

Option A - 1
Option B - 4
Option C - 4

I have PM'd the guy that voted for Option A to choose between B or C to break the tie.

Of note, since kinch is MIA I planned on counting just the 9 active members of our league, and thus why we have 9 votes.

So this means for the Championship week I will accept lineups for Week 12 and week 12 only. Then the 2nd week if only your player is on a bye in week 13, you may use his week 14 stats. If your player plays in both Week 13 & 14, you can only use his stats for Week 13.

And for clarification, you don't have to use the same lineup both weeks. (in either round)

The either round means either round of the playoffs (ie Wk 10/11)

How the playoffs will work is you will submit a lineup for Wk 10, then submit another lineup for Wk 11 (so they can be different)

Then for the Championship round you will submit your Wk 12 lineups. Then you will submit your Wk 13/14 lineup. The one item for the Wk 13/14 lineup is that if the player plays in both Wk 13 & 14, you MUST use their Wk 13 stats.

As a reminder this is how tie-breakers work. The first tie-breaker is head to head. So if 2 people are tied it defaults to who won the head to head game, if 3 people are tied and one person beat both of them it goes to that person. The 2nd tie-breaker is total points for the season.
