OFFICIAL 2009 BPCFFB Season Thread

I know, took me long enough. But here it is. As per last year there is a separate Waiver thread for player movement. Also, for adding/dropping players before the season please use that thread (it will be up sometime this afternoon) You can freely add/drop players starting 8am August 25th in the Waiver thread only.

kinch hopefully will post his full roster spreadsheet in this thread.

Rule Changes for 2009:

- Kick Return Yards 1pt per 25 yards
- 10 Team Round Robin Schedule starting Week 1 (September 5th)
- Playoffs will be a combination of 2 weeks results (you can post a different lineup each week) Schedule listed below.
- 4 Teams make the playoffs (4 best records, 2 way tie breaker is head to head reults, 3 way tie breaker or more will use total points)




Lineups will be in a separate thread per usual along with the scoring for that week. As a reminder your weekly starting lineup is consisted of:

1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 RB/WR
1 K
1 Defense

SCORING:
Per Yahoo Boxscores
Passing, Rushing & Receiving TDs = 6 pts
Passing Yards = 1 pt / 20 yards passing
Interceptions = -2 pts
Rushing/Receiving Yards = 1 pt / 10 yards rushing

Kickers
PAT = 1 pt
Missed PAT = -3 pts
FG 0-49 = +3 pts
FG 50+ = +5 pts
FG 60+ = +8 pts

Defense
Defensive TD = 6pts
Interceptions = 2 pts
Fumble Recovery = 2 pts
Safety = 2 pts
Points Allowed
0 = 10 pts
1-6 = 8 pts
7-13 = 5 pts
14-20 = 2 pts
21-27 = 0 pts
28-34 = -2 pts
35+ = -5 pts

Returns
TD = 6 pts
Return Yards = 1 pt / 25 yards return

Bonus

Pass for 300 - 5 points
Pass for 350 - 5 points
Pass for 400 - 5 points

RB -
Rush for 100 - 5 points
Rush for 150 - 5 points

Yeah, that was agreed upon before the draft as with a 10 team round robin format plus 2 weeks for each playoff 'game' it worked out perfectly.


And just a reminder... COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!

Took freaking long enough, eh? I'll have the Week 1 Lineup thread up tomorrow morning. And just a reminder that all free add/drops must be completed on September 1st. I will give everyone til 8pm tomorrow night.

Then rosters will be frozen and the waiver process will start after Week 1 next week.
