Official 2006 BP Mock Draft Thread

After futile attempts at trading down, I'm forced to make a pick.

Michael Huff, S, Texas

Ngata is gone, Hawk is gone, Williams is gone.....picking 7th sucks this year. I juggled thoughts of picking Huff, Vince Young, and Vernon Davis. I guess the need outweighed everything else.

Buffalo is on the clock.

I really have no idea why draft sites are giving the Raiders a QB.

-Defense is the need in this draft. If there is an offensive player taken on the first day I'll be disappointed.
-Al Davis is in love with Andrew Walter. Seriously, the man would have his child if that were possible.
-Aaron Brooks, although a sucky QB, is good enough to prevent the Raiders from wasting a 1st round pick on a QB.
-Oakland NEVER takes QBs in the first round. (They also never make good decisions, so Cutler probably is the right choice here  )

I thought about it. I actually like Cutler. But I don't expect the Raiders to take a QB in round one, so I couldn't make a QB pick for them.

.

If the draft were to fall this way (top 6), I don't see Old Man River taking anyone but a qb. I like the Huff pick.

They better go D with at least the top 3 picks.

Marc Wilson and Majiuanavich were both first rounders.

So too is Vince Young :paranoid:

It's hard for me to imagine him in a Lions uni

why, every other longhorn seems to be a lion,

I'm not familiar with Huff, but a safety going that high speaks volumes.

has the speed/skills to play corner, ball hawking and tackling to play either safty and size to play the larger receivers in the league, truely verastile and special tallent, also a very smart guy, I think he was an EE major....and this comming from someone with no bias whatsoever

....also for the record, I am a complete draft dork and I am thoroughly enjoying this thread
