Dammit, this sucks, I have class at 1230-230.
If the Buckeyes happen to lose either of the final two regular season games and end up in a tie for first place, how will the #1 seed in the B10 tournament be determined?
translation: I don't know but felt the need to answer anyway.I think it would go down to head-to-head match-ups. If that is tied, I'm sure they have another tie breaker.
If they win the Big ten title in m-bball that will make history!
First college to every win conference titles in:
Football
M-bball & G-bball
that will be amazing!
Let's say Iowa and Illinois win out, while OSU loses to Purdue. Then Iowa has a 2-1 record against the other 2, OSU has a 1-1 record, and Illinois has a 1-2 record. By that, Iowa gets the 1, OSU gets the 2, and Illinois gets the 3. If Illinois and Wisconsin win out, then I believe Illinois is 2-1 vs. the other two (I can't remember if they played Wisky once or twice), while OSU is 2-1, and Wisconsin is 1-2. I guess a further tie-break would have to be used, which I am not really sure about.
Either way, we won't have to worry about it if we just beat Purdue.

OSU will likely have to beat Northwestern, Wisky, and Illinois
The only team on that list who really gave us problems was NW. We lost on the road at Wisconsin but we handled Illinois very well at home. I think tOSU is odds on favorite to win the tourney.
