Hartline has one NFL mindset. The starting receivers play every snap the starting QB plays unless they’re winded dinged up and soon as they are ready, they are back in. You’re right though College receivers aren’t here for 10 years so develop youngsters. Hartline has results on his resume. You should play more then 3.
For the reasons I listed above and perhaps for morale of those not in the top 3.
How hard is to have 1 or 2 other wr's who could take 5 snaps a game and lift the burden of those taking every snap.
Tyreek ,Davonte,Chase aren’t coming out unless they’re winded or dinged up.I’m sure it’s easy to research but I don’t believe starting WR’s play every snap in the NFL.
Rossi or Gee Scott take some wr snaps …Why?You’re making my point.
Marv & EE play every snap even when they’re winded.
Fleming plays every snap when we are in a 3 WR set.
All the rest of the WR’s on the roster don’t play a snap until and if there is garbage time.
Did Smith really rotate too much? Not questioning Hartline, but I wish he would’ve used Johnson, Ballard and 1-2 frosh to give MHjr and EE rest and to keep the defense guessing. This isn’t the NFL, it’s college, so the kids imo should’ve been rotated some. Not trying to question Hartline, but it seemed like so much talent just rode the line instead of getting snaps. You can’t tell me that we couldn’t have used Kyion Graves against Toledo for exampleBasically the issue seems to be Hartline rotated too little Zack Smith rotated too much and didn't have the teaching chops
Not to mention that now the back ups (mostly freshman) start with no experience every year now.You should play more then 3.

Basically any game other than Iowa/Wisconsin/Penn State and Michigan you could rotate very freely.Did Smith really rotate too much?
