Anyone that is dying to get an RPG on the 360 or even slightly likes RPG's ought to check this game out. HUGE character creation process. Amazing graphics, music, better combat than Elder Scrolls 3. All the non-playable characters in the game add to the realism. Just 3 hours into the game and I'm highly impressed.

Nice sunset.....

I think it's excellent gameplay, steady framerate (studders slightly when you are outside, but I overlook it). Combat/magic system is better in Oblivion than Morrowind, weapons actually repel off of enemies (not go through them). Game makes very good use of ragdoll physics, you can pick up items/animals and throw them, move people around (like in Half Life 2). Aside from the main quest there are tons of sub-quests, different factions you can join, you can buy a house, or a horse, play as good or evil, lots of possibilities. If you buy it just expect to put several hours into the game (I spent 1 1/2 hours just on creating my character). Definitely recommend.

played it for the first time yesterday and I thought it was a really good game. You being in the sewers, and when you come out, if it is a sunny day, the view is astonishing. Rolling hills as far as you can see and the Imperial City with its' huge spire in the middle. It is maybe the best looking scene I have ever seen in a game.

I picked up Oblivion over the weekend and have put about 6 hours into it so far, and I feel that I’ve just barely touched the surface of this game. I’ve ignored the main quest of the game so far and have been enjoying some of the side quests to build up my levels, inventory and gold. I could see where you could spend hundreds of hours on this game exploring the entire map. Not only are the visuals just stunning but this world is so huge, and your options are just so numerous, that it simply overshadows any other game I’ve played on the 360 so far. If this is the kind of graphics and gameplay that developers can tweak out of the 360 then we’re in for some groundbreaking games over the next few years.
