I know minutes are tough to come by...but Smith Jr. has something special to his game.

I see the overall need for the freshman to improve defense, but he's got "star" written on him.

JD in, btw.
Agree... he's got some vision and some 'shake' to his game. This may be the best ball handling Buckeye team I've ever seen.

Weatherspoon with the authority dunk off a Thomas miss... he's got some hops.

Final: 92-63. Nice win Bucks!

Thomas 17, 6 rebounds
Sullinger 16, 9 rebounds
Lighty 13
Diebler 13
Buford 12, 6 assists
Craft 12 (career high), 7 assists, 4 steals

Lauderdale 4 points, 8 rebounds, 6 blocks

46.5% from the field (33/71)
55.6% from 3 (10/18)

Just need to improve FTs! 66.7% (16/24)

Great win!

BTN's coverage tonight sucked. Sucked sucked sucked.

Two big problems I had:

(1) On Thomas's reviewed 3-pointer (ruled a 2), the BTN camera crew rolled three different replays for us and the officials, apparently all filmed from the student section at the other end.

(2) The announcers mentioned at least half-a-dozen times that Lauderdale had moved up to #3 on the blocks chart at OSU, but never once mentioned who was #1 & #2, or how far Dallas was from #2 on the list.

This isn't rocket surgery, folks.

Agreed. That was pathetic on the Thomas 2/3 situation.

And Dallas is not close at all to #1 or 2

1) Ken Johnson 444
2) Herb Williams 328
3) Dallas Lauderdale 190
4) Brad Sellers 187

...had no clue it was that large of a gap. Ken Johnson was ridiculous.

Good Game now we're 12 and 0
add 92 points to the toll
Craft is a wizard with the dish
with Sully on the offensive swish
Lighty can score 29 at will
and so can a Buckeye named Will
Diebs has his an eye for the threes
as Dallas swats the b-ball like flees
Empty the bench of skilled freshmen
so Thad can prepare for the Big Ten

That was fun...

Go Bucks :osu:

High scorer: Thomas 17, 6 rebounds in only 15 minutes of playing time too. The kid has the ability to really light up the scoreboard.

A couple more impressive stats....

Tournovers:

Ohio State...........5
Oakland..............20

Steals:

Ohio State.........11
Oakland..............2
