but the U.S. loses their opening game and spends the week squabbling like girls in a beauty pageant (not that there is anything wrong with a beauty pageant), what's with that. Someone with an inkling of soccer knowlege please add some insight to what is going on, also, do we have any chance against Italy?

Peach, thanks for your kind words, but previously, I have never visited that forum and since, "Open-topic moderated forum. Any topic (within reason) is appropriate here as long as they can be discussed with at least a degree of tact, civility, and respect for differing opinions."
I thought it would be alright to ask my soccer question on this forum. Would someone with some soccer insight mind giving this some thought, thanks.

I understand what you are saying, "I'm just sayin," I don't visit that forum and I had relevant questions about the World Cup considering that we are playing in it right now. Thanks for your time.
