Agreed, I just don't see it...Arizona was ranked at the time and it was a cross-country trip for the coblickers...Minnesota couldn't beat a I-AA team and it's a trip right up the road.

If you review the thread people were talking like it was going to be like taking candy from a baby betting on Iowa. It didn't work out that way, did it? N'western may blow them away but I'm still not touching this one.

Wonderful, that still doesn't provide any logic for how this game is like that one. Obviously the betters have some reason or motive behind this line. Many of us are bewildered by it and debating what that might be.

What about this game says 'potential upset' to you?

What, people's short-sighted mistakes? Iowa limped past Northern Iowa and Arkansas State last year. They aren't nearly dominant enough to bet confidently on them. They almost lost to a Michigan team that was playing particularly poorly.

All I'm saying is that when a line looks to good to be true be very careful. I can't even imagine why it's only 4.5 but I'm sure as hell not going to bet the farm and then find out why after the game.

Of course, a lot of people had a similar reaction to the line last week for Stanford-Notre Dame and we know how that one played out. :tongue2:
