I'm having Penn State flashbacks. NU has scored 9 in a row to cut the lead to 21-15 with 4:47 left in the half.

NW only has 2 team fouls with 7 minutes left in the half.

Diebs with a miss.

Moore left wide open and hits a 3. 21-13.

Simmons misses a 3. The game's been at NW's pace lately.

Coble with a reverse layup, 21-15.

Buford misses badly, the offense is stagnant.

Well, my reverse psychology didn't work. The last time they jumped out to a big lead, I was all rah-rah and they tanked for the next 5 minutes. Thought I'd play the pessimism card, but that didn't work either. I'll just keep my mouth shut.

Radio guys say a win equals a 5 seed and we play Friday; a loss means an 8th seed and we play Thursday.

I don't see 8th place in the Big Ten getting an at large bid so we need to finish these guys today. Recall we had a 9 point halftime lead the first time.
