Purdue was up 21-3, got a goal-line stop late in the half, and couldn't handle prosperity. Elliott thrwe a pick from his own end one, NW'ernn punched it in, and then Valentin fumbled the ensuing kickoff.

NW'ern kicked a FG, to get back in the game, 21-13 with less than a minute left in the half.

Purdue fumbled on a running play in the last minute, and NW'ern is going to kick another FG in the last 10 seconds.

Now 21-16 Boilers.

Edit - Purdue had the kickoff return stripped, but review overturned the call saying he was down, or else NW'ern would have tried a long FG on the last play of the half.

Purdue just muffed a punt and lost it to NW'ern. Since stopping NW'ern at the goal line late in the 2nd Q while up 21-3, their generosity seemingly knows no bounds.
