Ohio State dishes out another WR offer
Wide receiver coach Brian Hartline is hitting the recruiting trail hard, sending out another offer Monday.
Odunze is a three-star prospect but his offer list shows that his potential outweighs his star ranking. The Las Vegas native holds 31 official offers from the likes of Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Miami, Oklahoma, Texas, USC and plenty of others.
Odunze doesn’t have a true leader in his recruitment. This is because his recruitment has recently taken off. However, Miami would have to be viewed as one of his top schools at this moment solely due to the fact he is recently coming off an unofficial visit to the school and it reportedly went well.
The blue-chip prospect would be a great addition to this year’s class and a combination of Scott Jr., Smith-Njaba, Fleming and Odunze would put Big Ten defenses on their toes. But if Ohio State wants to become a true contender for his services, they will have to get him on campus in the coming year.
Odunze is rated as the No. 91 WR in this year’s class, the No. 504 overall prospect and the No. 3 recruit hailing from the state of Nevada, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
