AV has arguably hit more clutch kicks than anyone in the history of the league. He's the best kicker of the modern (1980-) era.


That said, if I am doing a fantasy draft for a 2005 franchise, it's AV, and it isn't even close. But, if I'm in a keeper league, or if I was building a franchise for 10-20 years, Nuge has the huge upside.

thats one of the best points so far, but if you think about it nugent could be just as good as vinatieri when his career is all said and done (which you pretty much stated) lol

hell, in the BP Deuce League, scarletandgrey took Nugent with his 4th round pick...almost 60 picks ahead of the next two highest drafted kickers (Longwell and Vinatieri). so you know who's getting his vote...

Adam v has proven himself at the highest level and he has the rings to prove it. Now Nuge has proven himself at the College level. I'd give him a few games and he will be up there in the top three kickers in the league.
