Well donny, I'll bite....

I'd go with Vinatieri for now (keyword: now). He's proven himself at the highest level again and again.

Nuge has the potential and he gets bonus points for being a record setting Buckeye, but he's gotta show it first.

yeah youve got a good point there, but from the way nugent has been playing this preseason and the way he doesnt buckle under pressure, you could say he might be a top tier kicker in perhaps his rookie season

He might be, yes. I certainly hope he is. The kid deserves nothing but the best.

Yeah Vinateri is pretty good but id get Nuge because with somethin like kicking i think if you can do it in college, you can do it as a pro (just get used to the faster game speed). But yeah for one game i might have to get Vinateri.

depends on who my team is. if my offense is the strength of my team then i pick nuge. i figure im going to be in more shootouts that are going to end with someone winning by 7 and not 3. so i pick up the guy i can have on my roster for 15 years and never have to worry about the position again. if defense is the strength of my team i would go with vinetari. the increased probability of a game being decided by 3 requires a known comodity.

in the end, i pick nuge because well.. its the nuge!!! :biggrin:
