Ok well let me take it a step further since you asked...looking at your prices, $10 and up on T-shirts and especially $10 on buttons, your prices are certainly a good deal higher than your costs. We deal with T-shirts and buttons every year, every season in the athletic department...you guys are definitely making some flow on this.removeher said:If you find that hard to believe then open your own cafepress store and see what the prices are. We sell at the bottom price that they will give plus one dollar to cover all our give aways on saturdays. We are not out to make the big $$.
I see your point. And thanks for hoping we would make a million! But my point was that it wasn't us making any money off of this. We used the online company called cafepress that manufactures shirts/buttons when they are ordered and not in advance. They set the prices. (which are higher because you can order in any quantity you would like) We went this rout because we don't have a large bankroll to print shirts upfront and then sell them ourselves and like I said, the point wasn't to make a buck. Using cafepress someone who wants a shirt or anything goes directly to the company that prints them and buys from them. We only see a dollar out of the sale, and we use it to buy more shirts to give away. I wasn't trying to "throw bullshit around" just trying to get the word out. The only person who has purchased any items anyway is me /shrugosugrad21 said:Honestly, I think its great. You guys found a great cause that is red hot right now....hell make a million, but let's call a spade a spade and not try to throw that bullshit around here.

lets harrass the alumni and generally more mature fans who tailgate, drink a couple of beers, cookout and mingle.....
meanwhile the college kids are tapping kegs at 6am and drinking all the beer they want at the vc and hineygate....and their apartments that are within walking distance of the shoe...
of all the cars toppled and all the "problems" after a big win.....i wonder what percentage come from the tailgaters as opposed to the kids who actually are unfettered in their libations....
its just a stupid approach to an incredibly over-inflated issue....
