Notre Dame 24 at Purdue 21 (final)

Bring in Brian Kelly without much attrition, and ND is a top-10 team by october 2010.

Keep the Weis disaster going, and they'll continue to let talentless squads hang with them too often (and pay for it at times).

Can we get our "O" back anytime soon? :) They're not completely inept anymore. I'll concede the D is still nowhere in site, although they've pulled a few clutch plays like McCarthy's INT against MSU.

Not until they beat a defense with a pulse.

Honestly, kinda like the situation Michigan is in right now too :)

Are you saying celebrating the glory of the 4CA is premature after leading that big game winning drive over ...

Indiana.

If ND was going to spike it on 3rd down, they're idiots. The clock was at 35, and they could easily line up and hike it by 15 and throw it into the end zone. Then they've got time after an incomplete pass on third to get in a 4th down play with between 5 and 10 seconds left, as long as they weren't sacked on third down.

Wasting a 3rd down to spike it with over 30 seconds left is moronic. Too bad Purdue didn't let it happen.

Not the best of decisions to call that timeout, just my thoughts on the subject.

I agree, but I would have been pleasantly shocked if, without Purdue's timeout, ND had actually spiked that ball.

We're back! We kicked the shit out Michigan State, then we went down to Purdue and kicked the shit out of the pumpkin shuckers. We're back, baby. Claussen should be in the Heisman hunt right now. You just wait. BCS NC game here we come. I can't wait till we throw a little strategic advantage on USC. I wish we played them twice! We've got the strategic advantage.

Quasi Modo.

If Notre Dame beats USC they'll probably somehow get put into the Super Bowl.

Sorry.... I didn't really have any good reason to use that TO... but.. I hate feeling hurried and this seemed like a good enough place to use it.
As long as you actually have a TO to call, we'll allow it.
