ND's defense looked downright terrible on MSU's 3rd QT touchdown. And while ND drove right down and scored after that I don't think it was terrible defense by MSU. Crist put a few passes RIGHT on the money with defenders right there. The one catch over the middle was a ridiculous one hander, and the TD was just a great play change at the line that forced single coverage from a safety on one of the best TE's in the country - pitch and catch there for the TD.

While some of it can be attributed to ND's "defense" - MSU's backs are a fuckin load to bring down. Both Bell and Baker do NOT go down easy. MSU has one helluva 1-2 punch and from what i've seen from their line they've looked damn good as well.

but again this is Notre Dame they're playing.
