Not Everybodys on the 05 NC Bandwagon

This has got to be the dumbest article that I have ever read, and not because I think that tOSU will win the MNC next year. To say that they don't have a chance is just stupid. Some 118 teams will not win the damn thing next year, exactly 1 will. If you can show me a team that is an absolute shoe in/ upset immune/ perfect team then I guess we should all just go home now. Hell, why would we even worry about the games. I cannot stand when X writer says that Y team has 0 shot this year. That is the college football equivelent of picking the Yankees to win the world series. It is the easy way out. This point has been made on another thread somewhere but it cannot be said enough. If this guy wanted to prove that he was a some sort of college football guru then take a stand and pick the 1 team that is going to win. When he is wrong he will realize how much easier writting about who won't win is. The longer I think about this post the more pissed this makes me. I bet that this is the type of guy that rubs it in your face when he sucessfully "predicts" who won't win. I bet you he had a huge column about how Al Sharpton, whose supporters thought he had a great shot, would not win the election. Give me a break I could have written the same artical about 118 teams and passed myself off as a guru too.
Good Point, Lonesome. If he simply picks every team in Div 1-A to not win the NC, he'll be correct 99.2% of the time. With that kind of record, this guy is brilliant! We'll be seeing him on ESPN in no time, right next to Trev...

Good analogy. How does Trev still have a job as a CFB "expert?"

There are so many things wrong with this article that I wonder if it was only written to provoke.

Nope. This is the new format ESPiN job application. You just demonstrates your ignorance and anti-Buckeye rhetoric and takes your chances!

Another reference to a scUM named Larry. I think that I may be on to something with this Larry theory.

He's just keeping things in hand...

Uh, didn't we win a national title in 1957? Who was the great back that year?
Jimmy Roseboro... Don Southerin (sp) was the QB and I think it was also Jim Parker's senior year. It was one hell of a team.

Hey, no problem, University of Miami, 2002.

Yikes! Did I ever get the 57 team wrong! Senior moment. I forgot about Don Clark completely... so when did Roseboro play?
