'It shows the desperation of American society!'
It is a safe to say James Franco and Seth Rogen will not be stopping in at North Korea during their promotional tour for the new flick.
The funnymen's latest feature, The Interview, depicts the pair trying to kill the country's Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un - and the totalitarian state is not amused.
However, a spokesman for the regime told the Telegraph, while he might die in the end North Korea's leader will still probably watch the film when it comes out in October.
...
Kim Max-Buck, who is the unofficial spokesman for the regime in Pyongyang and executive director of The Centre for North Korea-US Peace, dismissed the movie itself, he told the Telegraph its assassination plot represents America's desperate foreign policy as a whole.
Max-Buck told the paper: 'There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society.
'A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy – Americans.'
The spokesman said America's history of backing political assassinations should be a concern to Barack Obama.
'In fact, President Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well.'
