North Carolina Tar Heels (official thread)

Hi!

Although I live in ACC country, I have been a Buckeye football fan since I was a kid in the 1970's. I have tried all day to look up tOSU's record, if any, against North Carolina throughout their (football) history and been unsucsessful. Does anyone have access to this information? Thank you in advance if you do!

Chip

PS:
(Is anyone else sweating The Game this year more than usual, that northern team has nothing to lose and everything to gain)

Stassen All kinds of searches you can do.

Ohio State is 3-1 v. UNC.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but UNC just got beat by Boston College.

Tyrese Rice is one hell of a player. Don't know how his game translates to the NBA, but he is a smooth lefty. Finished with around 30 points.

Just saw a list of top college football players returning who will be eligible for the 2011 draft http://www.scout.com/2/938232.html. I know it's pretty meaningless and full of holes but man N.C. defense must be tough if they get this kind of consideration. 8 out of their 11 starters on D are in the top 15 at their position (#1 DE, #1 and #11 DT, #2 ILB, #1 OLB, #1 FS, #2 and #12 CB). Just two for the good guys with Cam #4 DE and Homan the #15 OLB. On offense we faired much better http://cfn.scout.com/2/938233.html Pryor was #13, Posey # 6, Boren and Brewster #3 Browning #12.

I don't put too much credence into these things I mean he had Royster as a better prospect than Ingram?? Just a good convo piece and I put it in the N.C. thread cause their defensive players just dominating the list really caught my eye. Half their defense is the first or second best at their position according to one "expert".

Only three scUMmers #9 TE Koger, #11 guard Shilling and somehow someway Obi Ezeh #12 ILB

What the fuck has happened to Pete Fiutak? He used to be half-way decent; but the poor boy has lost his damn mind. This is only the latest evidence of it.

UNC isn't bad on defense. They rank 14th in DSD and 10th in DTD. That's respectable. But I am not nearly so disdainful of the UNC coaching staff that I would accuse them of producing those numbers with the kind of talent that Fiutak suggests that they have.

By way of comparison, Ohio State was 5th in DSD and 6th in DTD in a conference that straight up punked the ACC in the bowl season. Better differential numbers in a better conference = a better defense; and it's really not that close. I don't believe that the Ohio State coaching staff is that much better than UNC's as to produce a D that much better with players that would not sniff the field at UNC (which seems to be what PF believes).

Fiu needs to put the damn bong down.

They say he's a better passer than Jesus. I heard that Urban Meyer had a dream that Brantley was going to lead the Gators to a NC next year and that's why he decided to come back.

Let's see here....

Kaepernick has as many issues throwing if not moreso than the "new and improved" TP does....Hell he barely throws a wounded duck much less a spiral half the time....

Christian Ponder? Yeah ok :slappy:

I don't know enough about Dalton to comment. Same mostly goes for Kellen Moore although it's always been my impression that he's accurate without arm strength.

Brantley and Gabbert being in the top 10 is a friggin joke.

You misunderstood his dream. He actually said that God appeared to him in a dream and told him that Pryor was going to transfer to UF. Brantly was going to be transferring according to this revelation.
