North Carolina at tOSU (+5.5), Nov 28th

I have actually seen this line as low as -3.5 (UNC). Most sites have it around -4 (UNC). I would love to see OSU win this bet, but I just don't see it, especially after the brutal showing against Texas A&M.

I still think the ATM game was more of a fluke then the norm...

I keep hearing all the UNC fans saying they are going to roll because of the way we played in that game...

Seems like most forgot the Syracuse game...I think at this point it is going to depend on which team shows up, and I think the odds go up us playing better since we are at home...

Injured Lawson could be North Carolina?s Achilles? heel

If North Carolina was a drink, Ty Lawson is the straw that stirs it.
The Tar Heels? rapid-fire offense is driven by the lightning-quick point guard, who is listed as questionable for this Wednesday?s game with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Lawson sprained his right ankle just two minutes into this past Saturday?s game against the Brigham Young Cougars at the Las Vegas Invitational. North Carolina won the tournament title with a 73-63 victory, just covering the 8-point spread.
For Wednesday?s game, line consultant Peter Korner sent out a spread of 5 ?-points in favor of UNC with Lawson?s injury in mind. If news comes down that Lawson is indeed sidelined, Korner believes books could drop that number by as many as 2 ? points.
?A player like that is a point mover,? says Korner.

my buddy THEWOOD brings up a good point. for a game like this to have such a tight spread, some very smart people must know something the casual fan doesn't. in basketball though, way more than football, a team can play very tough and have a chance to win until the end but still lose by 8-10 pts because of free throws down the stretch (last years NC game vs Florida comes to mind). i definitely think we can hang, but i just see UNC pulling away by 10+ in the end.

what it may have been that i didn't know until watching the game was that UNC was playing w/o their PG. didn't make a difference though
