My posting history shows that I would like to see Notre Dame remain irrelevant for the rest of time.

They're ranked #16 and made the NC game to years ago. "Remain irrelevant," unfortunately, isn't the case, despite how badly you want it to be true. "Remain irrelevant" might, however, be appropriate for the team that has, over the past six years, gone a putrid 21-27 in the Big Ten. Can you guess who that team might be? I'll bet you can.

It also shows that I believe it to be in the best interest of Ohio State football if Michigan and Michigan State beat Notre Dame.

Something with which many would disagree.

Media history shows that no team in big time football gets more boost for doing less than Notre Dame.

Where was that shown?

Legal history shows that Notre Dame skates while Ohio State and others go on probation.

NCAA probation isn't "legal history." That aside, ND is far from the only program that has skated. Take a look at Michigan's recent track record when it comes to on and off the field matters.
