Every week during the college football season, Matt Tamanini and Jami Jurich will be getting into all things Ohio State, previewing the weekend’s slate, unveiling their individual CFP rankings, and picking Heisman contenders on “No Fall Weddings.”

On this episode of the Land-Grant Podcast Network’s “No Fall Weddings,” Jami Jurich and Matt Tamanini break down what they are hoping to see in Ohio State’s Week 1 matchup against Akron and then dive into all of the other college football offerings over the five days of the holiday weekend.
Jami is more interested in seeing what the Buckeye players bring to this new season where the expectations are so high; whether it is the OSU veterans who opted to come back, or the marquee names who came to Columbus via the transfer portal. Matt, on the other hand, is most interested in learning a bit about how the coaching staff’s philosophy has changed this year. Has the glut of talent changed how they will approach playing time and rotations? How will Chip Kelly calling the offense impact the scheme? Will the defense harness the talent and athleticism in order to be more aggressive?
