So I'm not sure why some of you are upset with that...unless what you really are upset about it the fact that they were loud in OUR stadium...which upsets me too. But that's as much our fault as anything. And as far as cheering Joe Paterno's name..you can't expect them to just forget Paterno or turn on him, especially when, even if he didn't do what he should have done, he wasn't the one committing the crime. Sure it's disgusting what happened, but to expect PSU fans to just sit there quietly and not be loud during a game isn't realistic.
I think what really is going on is that a lot of you are upset because their fans were louder than we were. You wanna change that, get loud. It's not obnoxious to be loud and cheer. God knows we did it two years ago in Michigan. With signs like "We love you RichRod." To me that's more disrespectful than the PSU fans being loud and cheering for Penn State and Paterno.
I've had a lot of bad experiences with PSU fans at their place, and think they can be quite disrespectful. But yesterday they were not. The B section fans were their students. They have loud students, home and away. We don't have a loud home crowd. It's kind of embarrassing how quiet 105,000 people can be when Ohio State is on defense.
You don't turn in a child molester because you don't wanna hurt recruiting? Wow.jwmann2;2042292; said:I actually felt sorry for Paterno. He did nothing because he just didn't want to be involved and though it would hurt recruiting if this went public. He should have fired Sandusky on the spot. The Buckeyes had a public service announcement warning the fans not to say anything disrespectful to Lion fans while they were in town.

Here's a note to the Ohio State PA crew. Don't play a chant that the opposing team does at home right after their defense gets a huge stop on 4th down near the end of the game. The only fans going crazy and chanting at that time were the Penn State fans; and rightfully so.

All that bullcrap this week about the athletic department wanting to reduce marching band playing time during games so they could play more piped in music and then they go and play Penn State's annoying-ass zombie nation song? Someone needs slapped.
