Yeah, never played with anything Nike. Still working on my used Tommy Armours from high school.

Go to a PGA superstore (or Golf Galaxy) and get fitted. Nike's might be good for you but they might recommend Adams or Taylor Made.

More than anything - make sure you get a club for your handicap. If you're a high handicapper, get a set of game improvement irons (Callaway Big Bertha Irons or Adams). If you can really knock it down - look at Titlest Irons or Mizunos.

the nike irons with the hybrids for irons are a good set for high handicappers. my buddy just picked up a set and likes them a lot. for low handicapper, i wouldn't play nike irons. tiger doesn't even play them. he takes another set and puts the nike logo on them. i'm a titleist guy myself, but like woof said mizunos are good and so are the taylor mades.

I play Callaway X-14's. Not blades but not game improvement irons. A nice mid level set.

I have a 4,5,6,7,8,9,10 (yes, Callaway makes a 10 iron and no, I couldn't sub it out for an A-wedge. I use it for bump and runs and pitch and runs), P, Sand.

I don't play a hybrid - I play a 5 wood, a 3 wood and a Driver. My driver/3 wood are Adams Redline.

I play my forgiving TaylorMade Supersteel irons and woods, S-90 shafts. I have a 13 degree 3 wood I like off the tee, and when my swing goes to crap I hit a Wilson Big Red 9 degree driver that is too big to not get contact and the ball somewhere within a six iron away.

Lots of laughs from buddies, but I still use my old Acushnet brass Bullseye putter, which is also a hell of a good club to use backwards as a rescue club when I have to hit left handed to get out of the shit. I have an 18 degree rescue wood as well.
