YEP! That's a WHITE AWAY Jersey, my bad! :roll1:

HAYN

I meant both of the new jerseys, I thought you meant either one, not just the white.

Not bad J! Congrats on the 30D. You like it? How could you not? I'm assuming you were shooting Manual Mode wide open at 2.8. If not you should. In Manual mode you need to watch your shutter speeds and compensate for darker and lighter areas in the field. I know they probably didn't have "game worthy" lights so this probably was more of a problem than if they had standard game lights. In any case, just remember to pay attention to the shutter speed and adjust accordingly.

Were you using a 70-200 2.8?

My head hurts

What the hell is a 70-200 2.8?

I love the 30D, I have plenty of my own limitations as a young photographer.... I didn't need the 300D holding me back too (no AI Servo above 400, none in manual modes).

yep I was shooting wide open... I'm still learning to adjust the settings appropriately... the lighting was pretty poor.

Yep... I was using a 70mm-200mm zoom lens with a 2.8 f-stop (which means it lets in more light than most lenses, which is why I was able to stop the action)... there's your explanation teddy.
