Height has nothing to do with ethnicity and demographic because height is a non-ethnic and non-demographic factor.

There are two kinds of people I can't stand. Those who are intolerant of other cultures, and the Dutch.

But since the Dutch are actually the tallest population in the world, why aren't they cranking out NFL QBs? (Yeah, I'll give you Norm Van Brocklin). And somebody tell Pete Carroll that Van Brocklin left Oregon with a year of eligibility remaining, and he's in the NFL Hall of Fame!!!

Two words: reading comprehension.

I never he would. I said if he had a good enough season, he'd forego his senior year and enter the draft regardless of what anyone else says about his height.

No problem with reading comprehension here. You originally said that Boyd may see Oregon as more attractive because Masoli may go pro after his junior year. Of course "if he has a good enough year" Masoli will go pro. The reason your post was (and is) ridiculous is that the odds of Masoli having what you define as "a good enough season" are astronomically remote. Therefore, your conditional part of your original statement was so unlikely to happen that it rendered your entire post of no consequence. Just admit that your original post was ridiculous--you've been backpedaling for long enough here.

Just admit you can't comprehend a simple conditional statement, such as where Pryor cannot go pro yet no matter how great his upcoming season is whilst Masoli can no matter how unlikely he is to have a breakout season.

I can comprehend a conditional statement. And I can also comprehend when the conditional part of such a statement is so unlikely to occur that it renders the entire statement worthless in terms of predictive value.

Your post was no more informative than someone like me saying if I walk on next year to the Buckeyes as a QB and perform really well, then I'll be the starting QB for OSU mid-way through the fall. Is the conditional part of the sentence possible? Technically it is, I guess, because I still have eligibility remaining. But is it unlikely? Of course, astronomically so. So is making such a statement in the first place entirely worthless? Yep.

Same goes for your post--the odds of Masoli turning pro after his junior year are, for a plethora of reasons, astronomically low. Accordingly, the post has no redeeming value.
