Pretty much Calvin Johnson used to take head hunting hits all the time playing the Vikings. They never once called them. If you're not the NFL's golden child you don't get a lot of those calls and to become a golden child you have to get deep in the playoffs for multiple years.

Ratings continue to drop for the NFL. If they wonder why, they might want to watch last night's snooze fest. The Lions-Giants combined to run 103 plays for 527 yards and 34 points. Individual college teams are putting up more numbers that weekly. I literally fell asleep half way through the third quarter last night.

I watched the first half and both QBs were getting jacked up most of the game because their Olines are horrible. Hard to score when you can't throw the ball. Hell one time Manning fell down and Ansah didn't even touch him.....
