And yet in the pre-game the announcers were going on about how Peyton was so healthy and felt as good as he had all year. Maybe that was the key part of the statement: this year, not any previous year.

Clicked on just before the end of the half, when the snap was dropped or whatever & Manning fell on it. They got a close-up of his face as he was getting up. It was not pleasant--a mix between despair and anguish.
