NFC Wildcard: Falcons(-2.5) at Cardinals

Anybody have any thoughts on this game? I think the Cardinals win due to having more guys with playoff experience and the home field advantage.

I'm hoping Matt Ryan is nervous as hell and makes a lot of mistakes.

The Cards might win this one because they're tough at home, then they will get killed at New York or Carolina next week.

If Turner gets rolling and takes pressure off Ryan, ATL could win. I hope they do because I think they'd put up a better fight next week.

The Cardinals should have beat Carolina at Carolina this year. They fell apart in the 4th qtr. I think if the Cardinals win, they could beat Carolina, but they would get killed by NY.

They'll get killed by either of them next week, if they win this week.

I bet Alabama fans were thinking the same thing.

Snappy comeback, and it can be used for every game in every sport for the next several months, at least. The best part is, it requires very little thought.

Now compare Utah's road record to the Cards' road record and get back to me.

I already said that the Cardinals were up on Carolina by like 17 going into the 4th quarter AT Carolina. I said I think the Cardinals can beat Carolina on the road. I don't think they can beat NY on the road.

My comment wasn't meant to be snappy. My point was that anything can happen and I like our chances against Atlanta and Carolina.

Of course anything can happen. The 4-12 Browns beat the Giants by 21 points. The 2-14 Rams beat the Cowboys by 20 points. But Vegas has made a fortune on guys betting based on "anything can happen" philosophy.

Arizona played 5 games in the Eastern time zone. They lost all five of them. They were outscored 202-102, for an average margin of defeat of 20 points. The evidence suggests they don't travel well. The only road games they won were against their crappy division opponents.

By your quote, you weren't making it sound like anything can happen. I guess I'm one of those guys that gets burned in Vegas. I have faith in the Cardinals. Maybe I'm stupid for that. Oh well.

Well, first things first. Zona has to win today.

This game could be interesting. Cards will lean on Warner, Falcons on Turner (who played well for SD in last year's playoffs).

Let's kick it off, already. :box:
