NFC Championship Game: Packers(-3.5) at Bears

When the Bears called that 2nd timeout with about 5 seconds on the play clock, it looked like that run up the middle was going to get them the first down. Too bad, that last minute could have been interesting with the Bears in the red zone.

At least I vBet with my head and not my heart.

4th and 4 upcoming and cant use a timeout. ballgame upcoming.

Hanie throws a pick to Sam Shields, his second of the game.

Pack to the super bowl.

The jet sweep call was stupid. You have to think a few plays ahead in your play selection, and that play didn't take into account the consequences of not being able to get a first down and get out-of-bounds. They had one timeout left at that point, but they had no choice to try to save it. The jet sweep put a lot of undue pressure on the next play, which was hurried and resulted in the game-losing pick.

I'm a die hard bears fan and I am much more upset about the jet sweep than hanie's pick. That is just an inexcusable play call and they should have just run it on third three, really bad timeout by martz and lovie smith. Jay Cutler has just become worse than Steve Bartman in Chicago, there is nothing worse than a quitter and it really seems like Cutler quit on the team. He may have been hurt, but if you are healthy enough to walk around, you should be healthy enough to play. The Bears showed great heart, but you can't make up a 14 point deficit with your third string quarterback. Lastly, Todd Collins is the worst quarterback ever. Go Bears!

Mo-Jo D on Cutler...don't let Gator see the shot at the end

Maurice Jones-Drew, Jaguars RB -- @Jones_Drew32
"All I'm saying is that he can finish the game on a hurt knee... I played the whole season on one..."

"Hey I think the urban meyer rule is effect right now... When the going gets tough...QUIT."

I've never posted on this side of BP, but the sh*t that Cutler is taking is phenomenal. At least it takes some pressure off Lovie Smith.

The boards and talking heads are going crazy. It's awesome!

My fave comment on Cutler:

His knee was fine. It was the sprained uterus that kept him out.

wooooooooo-hoooooooooooooooooo what a game. Playing them 3 times in 1 year is enough for me. I thought i was going to have a heart attack. Aaron Rodgers' best play of the day may have been his tackle on urlacher after the red zone int.

Go Packers!

So Chicago is a French city, never lose a war at the front, always the stab in the back, always looking for the traitor in their midst?

I love Chicago, but Chicagoans often look for a scapegoat and Cutler is in a tough position right now because even if he was so hurt that he couldn't play effectively, it does not look good when you can still walk around. I am still amazed the Bears made it this far with their lack of playmakers, lackluster offensive line, and aging defense.

Lets face it, Chicago had the easiest route to their championship game. They had to merely beat a lucky but even-worse Seahawks.

Hey Chicago, how is that SEC-speed quarterback working out for you?
