Mac

That's a pain in the buns
So my replacement iPhone 5 should be here later this week or next. I can't decide on whether to get a Nexus 7 or iPad. I'm looking for how well the Nexus 7 would play with the iPhone in tandem. Would I have trouble with things? I'd be using my iPhone during the day, but the tablet at night at home. How well would the Nexus handle my OSU Outlook email? I'm looking at the syncing of my email, I have notes in my iPhone (in the stock notes app) that syncs perfectly to my email. Would that be doable with the Nexus?

Nexus 7 16gb is supposed to drop to $200
iPad Mini or any iPad is $329+

Could save quite a bit of cash between the two, and I could possibly be getting 2 of each.

Thanks! (Mods feel free to merge if needed)

WAIT...
Nexus 10 - http://androidspin.com/2012/10/26/nexus-10-images-and-specs-emerge-a-few-days-early-sports-android-4-2/

As far as sync what are you looking for Android supports MS activesync... Could use a crossplatform program like evernote.

EDIT:
I will say this even as though I prefer Android hands down.... I likely wouldn't leave whatever ecosystem I started in (IE if i had Apple Iphone,Mac etc I'd get an Ipad). It can be a hassle to learn a new OS.. I'd really recommend going to a store that has a working Demo of the Nexus 7 and play around see if it is really something your interested in.
