To do list.
First a shout out, they showed massive heart last night.
Huge last impression for C.J. stud.
We went toe-to-toe with best team in the country in their backyard.
We ran out of guys especially on O (I’ll never get over JSN not playing).
And 3 huge 50/50 calls went against us.
Targeting on Marv, Bowers 4th down review, time out before fake punt.

Next year:
Deep dive into why we couldn’t stay healthy.
Find a legit OT in the portal (Paris & Dewand were awesome and will be impossible to replace).
Find at least 1 DB in the secondary. We went the entire year without an interception by a CB and had huge busts/tripping over themselves/getting clowned like an and one mix tape in every big game.
OT is my biggest concern.
Secondary is a concern. We aren’t seeing noticeable development. Guys didn’t take the next step.
We should be elite at RB, WR, DL, & LB (depth?).
Figure out a coherent NIL plan.
We should be damn strong but this year was there for us.

The year was so full of promise immediately after the Rose Bowl and during the ND game it all started to unravel. BUT LAST NIGHT WAS BETTER THAN 11/26so reload.
Where did this past year go? Not even kidding it feels like we just played that Rose Bowl yesterday still.

I think we unfortunately now know this would've been an epic offense has 11 and 32 stayed healthy.

Really just need to address OT and DB. Then you hope one of the QBs steps up.

I actually think Zen will be a stud, so I'm not too concerned at LT.

I also am a huge believer in Fryar, although I'm not sure where he ideally slots at.

If Wypler returns, that'd be huge. IMO, Zen/Fryar/Wypler/Jackson is a helluva start to a great line.....wait, can we play with only 4 OL?

Not saying you are wrong but what are you basing this on?
He is a majestic looking beast.
Perhaps you have sources but I can’t come to any conclusions based on his limited snaps.

In his snaps he's shown what we heard in camp which was he's very athletic, moves incredibly well, and he's growing into his strength. I think playing behind Paris was fantastic for him as there are a lot of similarities there, their sizes are nearly identical and are mobile. He's had two years to learn, quickly earned his way as the backup LT, had some studs to learn from...that's about as promising as you can get for a new addition.

And at Wisconsin.

With an offense that probably won't be as reliable in a shootout and the same old same old on defense, there are several potential landmines on the schedule next year.

Starting a first time QB on the road, at night (you know it will be) in conference is dicey.
WKU pissing all over this defense doesn't sound like a lot of fun right now
at Notre Dame
At Wisky the week after the annual Penn State war (which means they are in the annual post Penn State let down spot)
At tsun

Day loses 3 in the regular season next year with the last one in that mix and Gene has to start thinking about it.
