Looks like their 2005 coaching staff is reassembling itself like T-1000. Well, except T-1000 could turn his arm into a fucking sword and didn't go on NCAA probation.

But, I have no doubt that the chum swarm of NewHiSell and other Pac-10 coaches just did a yippee-yai-yay - at least on the recruiting front. (Dirty recruiting tactic most likely used or hinted at. "You want your kid to go with man whose players commit armed robbery?") One thesis on why PC flew to the Seahawks is because of the pending likelihood of the NCAA getting serious about Bush, McKnigght and, perhaps, other related matters involving other players. But wait, wasn't Kiffin there in 2005? Isn't that slap-dab in the middle of Bushgate? Pus, who knows what else the NCAA feels it can explore that aligns with Kiffin's prior involvement with SC.
My guess is that Kiffin is walking firmly into the teeth of a buzzsaw. If I'm right, this makes his hire the worst in recent memory - topping RR and Weis in short-sightedness and shoot from the hip, panic induced decision making.

Orgeron is a great recruiter (from what I understand), and now they have three coaches who've been in the NFL.
Talk about a draw for kids who are looking to go to the league...
Like I've said for a while- No need for an NFL team in LA; they've already got the best college football (players and coaches) money can buy.

Rumors were circulating on the Vol board last week that Lane to SC was a done deal before Carroll to the Seahawks had been leaked. Some even suggested Orgeron was recruiting kids to SC on the Vols' time.
