I created a collage to save you the load time for PDF.

- Better photography makes these look much better than the ebay user pics that were leaked last week.

- I like the silver/gray stripes seen on the scarlet jerseys (they seem gray anyway, on the bottom)

- The gray's will probably look better in person (material is 'shimmer sheen'), if so I have no complaints (no return to the dull grays please).


Overall I can't complain. They are a drastic change, but I like this modernization a lot more than their football counterparts.

how many times have major changes occured in the bball unis in the past 20 years? 7-8 maybe, it happens all the time. i just hope they arent cookie cutter unis that 20 teams have similar ones too

Isn't that the truth. The uniforms look hideous.

The only uniform that looks halfway decent is the gray, which we wont be wearing all that often.

The game is getting rougher all the time - I think the basketball players need to wear helmets.

Then Matta could give out stickers for blocking shots, taking charges, etc. - and we fans could debate what color those stickers are. :tongue2:

Details have not been finalized, but Matta confirmed that a benefactor has offered a donation ? about $6,000 ? that could be used to purchase a set of gray uniforms. The Buckeyes have not worn gray as a primary color since Randy Ayers was coach in the mid-1990s. Matta said the uniforms have not arrived and he does not know if they will before the team opens the regular season Friday night in the BCA Classic in Value City Arena. Asked if the Buckeyes would wear the uniforms in the tournament if they had them, he smiled and said, "Maybe."
