Guys don't take mid-range jumpers anymore, its all three pointers, or driving to the basket for the lapup/floater. And then there's the dunk.

But if you watch a game, all the guys do is pass it around untill someone has an open 3, and occasionally a guy will just take it to the basket himself. The three-point shot is getting so much more natural and easier for players today, that it's not even a challenge anymore.

The mid-range jumper in basketball is a lost art and also the use of the backboard......

I think their is to much focus on the three point shot......

Yeh, mid range jumper is a lost form now...everything is a dunk, in the paint or 3pointer. The college 3 i think should still be moved back to international 3...i think it is insane that college players are shooting the same 3 that high school and middle school students are.

I would like to see them institute a 30-second shot clock, and eliminate the 5-second call. Let the refs look for other things, instead of constantly waving their arms and counting.

College women have a 30-second clock, I think the guys could handle it.
