Here is a game that's equally ridiculous. Mix 1 part Bumper Cars with 1 part Jai Lai, and you've got Whirley Ball.

Best part is, they let you drink beers while you're not playing. And if you swing your stick at any other players, you can be put in a penalty zone.
Ramming players and driving wildly is highly encouraged.

Whirlyball is awesome. I've only played once and nobody had any experience. With the cars we played in the goal was not to let your car stop because it took forever to get moving again. I also learned not to pass the ball if I could make it to the hoop within the 3 second time limit that you are allowed to hold the ball. I started passing the ball to open teammates, but it usually ended in a turnover. Much like in basketball I'm only good at layups.
