This season the University of Wisconsin Celebrates the Legacy of Camp Randall Stadium as the four-year renovation of the stadium concludes. This uniform design was worn by the Badgers at the time of the last stadium renovation in 1965. As a nod to that legacy, for one game only these uniforms will be worn during Wisconsin’s 2005 season opener vs. Bowling Green on September 3.

Terrific for them. They'll be wearing the most attrocious uniforms in all of college football when Omar Jacobs and the Falcons come into Camp Randall and school the Badgers defense. These uniforms will be on video forever after, in BGSU highlight films and Omar Jacobs' Heisman reel.

Wisconsin, apparently recognizing that they're going to get caught rebuilding in the wrong year of a loaded Big-10, really does want to honor that 1965 team that went 2-7-1, being shut out three times, playing Colorado to a 0-0 tie in the home opener, ultimately being outscored 81-291 for the season.

Does this mean if I watch the game they won't play that shit-ass white, irish rap Jump Around in honor of '65?

Don't forget that honor belongs to michigan. This uniform comes in third after those Oregon uniforms.
