FINALLY!!! THEY GET IT!!!!!! Ohio State jumps back over Notre Dame.

I can't believe LSU is still ranked over Penn State (looks like the Harris Poll got this one right, actually think the Harris poll looks like the most accurate one now). Also surprised Fresno is still ranked. Nice to see Iowa get some love.

Some reality has set in for the coaches. Nice to see tOSU before ND.

One coach is voting USC #3, or they would have 1541 points. I wonder who that is?

I agree with you here. I'd be going nuts if I were a PSU fan. LSU barely escaped against a 4-7 team at home. Combined with their other close wins (e.g., OT win against Auburn in which Auburn's kicker missed 5 field goals), I think LSU should be ranked behind Va Tech as well. This weekend, Les Miles' luck runs out and Georgia beats them in the SEC championship.

I wouldn't be going nuts. It doesn't matter at this point. Either USC or Texas lose and they're in the Rose, or they go to the Fiesta or Orange Bowl. being 3rd or 4th in the AP/Coaches is meaningless.

Good point. I agree with that the BCS is all that matters in the long run. I would, however, not like it at all that LSU is ranked ahead of me in any poll if I were a PSU fan, after that disgusting showing by LSU on Friday, though.

I saw that. Who in the country could you vote over USC besides Texas? That's a joke. Whatever coach voted USC 3rd should have his ability to vote taken away.

I agree, and that's the problem with letting coaches vote--you'll always have a few people who vote irrationally in order to further their agendas, whatever they may be. Kind of like A.J. not getting unanimous first team all Big 10 LB. I'd like to know what coach in his right mind wouldn't vote for A.J., considering he's a lock for the Butkus, the best LB in the entire nation. It's agenda-driven voting, and it sucks.
