Pryor says he "bumped" his left leg, but shrugged it off, says he'll be fine. Happened on a 2nd quarter run in which he got horse-collared.

Twitter / Ken Gordon: Pryor says he "bumped" his ...

Another injury on a dirty play. :shake:

You could see him stretching that leg on the sideline after that play. The good thing was he was walking around the sideline, and didn't look to be limping or anything of the sort. The game was done and it was good that JT pulled him.

Does anyone know of the severity of the Pettrey injury?

No news on that front yet....I am anxious to hear that myself. I don't think that we will see an official report until they do some MRIs....he got hit low around the knee. My first impression was that he may miss the rest of the season.....lets hope that he is gonna be ok.

Also, there are some initial suggestions that TP was stretching his hamstring....but it was a very minor tweak and he could have returned.

Speaking of poor coverage, from the ESPN recap:

"[OSU] had a bad punting day"

3/3 punts pinned inside the 20 not good enough for them? Someone decided looking at the average yards was good enough journalism for them. Shocking, I know...

I guess ESPN doesn't know the difference between punting and kicking, as our kicking unit had a bad day. BTW, I think Ben Buchanan wasn't well and didn't even suit up for the game which may have been the reason for us seeing Barclay in on the game. I thought Barclay did a good job with the kick offs and does seem to have a strong leg.

Unfortuantely, I can think of a game where a team won without getting any first downs.
Snow Bowl - 1950.

Don't know about first downs, but the Bubba Smith, George Webster led Spartan defense held the Bucks to MINUS 22 yards rushing while administering a 32 - 7 ass whipping in '65.

Here are the game highlights....

For me the big momentum changer was Pettrey's onside kick.....great execution (45 sec mark on the video). You could also argue that the NM state players behaving more like tourists at the start of the game may have been it!
