AussieBuckeye
Freshman
Hi guys! (Or I guess I should say g'day just to live up to cliche?)
My name's Andi and I'm a new Buckeyes fan from Melbourne, Australia. I've followed the Buckeyes from down here for a bit less than a year. I'm a big basketball fan, supported the Celtics for years (and was SO EXCITED TO SEE THEM DRAFR SULLY) and accidentally fell in love with the OSU Basketball team.*
I only just started watching American football last season, but I got quickly obsessed and woke up disgustingly early every Sunday morning to watch the Saturday college games. I didn't ever pick a football team but after being so fiercely attached to OSU's basketball team I figured it was only natural.
I'm a complete new comer, I don't know the history or the players or coaches anywhere near as well as I should, but that's where I figure knowing you fine people comes in handy.
I'm making my third to the States in September/October and plan to catch the home game against Nebraska, as well as a whole heap of baseball, hockey and NFL, and a slab of Broadway on the side.*
Outside of all that, I take part in the local religion that is Aussie Rules footy (sorry guys but it's the best sport in the world), love theatre, pretty much all music, politics and travel and am a bit of a nerd. I get very enthusiastic about my obsessions be it sport or Buffy or voting rights laws in America.
Lovely to meet you all :)
