Congratulations DE....

your life has now changed forever and for the best. If you have more, you'll likely feel just as humbled as you do now. My wife and I have five kids and each time it was just as amazing as the first. With our first, who is now nine years old, I remember as I held him shortly after his birth, I felt this overwhelming tide of love and the certainty that if I had to I would give up my life for this baby. I was rather stunned with the intensity of the emotions but the memory still makes me smile. As another poster said "take it all in" enjoy it, now as you will also see they grow up all too fast!

Congrats DE

And now the journey begins.
You will now find out how much you do not know.:wink2:

Enjoy the trip.

My youngest, six years old, fell asleep in lap this PM while I did some work in my office.
Being a dad is a good thing.:)

Congrats DE and Mrs. DE!!

Enjoy each and every age/stage that the little dude goes through, since you can not get them back and they pass by too quickly.

Also, when he is old enough, tell him how you felt when he was born and the first time you held him. Chances are, you will tell him that story many times during his life.
