Luke Lippincott had 162 yards on 19 carries, putting him at 1,028 yards for the season. He joined quarterback Colin Kaepernick and running back Vaia Taua as 1,000-yard rushers on the Wolf Pack roster, and Nevada became the first team in NCAA history to have three players in one season top 1,000 yards rushing.

How the hell did they get blown out (and shut out) by a ND team that can't stop the run to save their lives and an overrated Mizzou team. Tells me the WAC is really, really bad, and that letting Boise into a BCS bowl would be a travesty.

Hopefully, Nevada will end that charade this coming weekend.

I actually think Nevada may be better than Boise St, at least offensively. But this game is held at Boise's joke of a field.

Something tells me if the game is close, the WAC people won't be stupid enough to take their team out of BCS contention.

The WAC sucks but Nevada was not playing this well early on, either. Between losing to ND and Mizzou they lost by 15 to Colorado State as they broke in a new o-line. They'd kick ND's ass now.

I'll be their biggest fan this weekend. I hope they rush for 1,000 in one game. :biggrin:

Was gonna say it will be easier for the refs to prevent Nevada from ever getting started than to job them at the end...it will be much less blatant that way.

Maybe Nevada can make like Pitt did against West Virginia in 07, despite the refs every efforts to fuck them over to get West Virginia into the national title game
