Does anyone know what price the football tickets at USC typically go for? I'll be looking for something cheap of course, because airfare alone is going to be expensive for me to fly out to Cali in September, but I REALLY want to go! Thanks for any information you have.

Skybus has a hub in Charlotte. You could try and get the 10 dollar tickets from them.

As for tickets, I would expect they are close to OSU's prices, so between 60-70 for face value. Going to be hard to find those though.

I was just checking out the cost of this trip..

Skybus round trip from Columbus to LA will be $120 unless you can snag the $10 tickets.

Hotel in Anaheim for Wed-Sun will cost $267 and sleeps up to 4 people.

With 2 people, a rental car, hotel, and plan tickets: $185.50

Not bad at all. See you in SoCal.

Instead of a rental car, try getting a weekly or day transit pass. You can ride the subway for just $10 or $17 the entire weekend, depending on how long your there. As many times as you need.

How are the transit lines out there? Anyone ever been before that can help me out? I like the week long pass idea, and it dosen't bother me to do some walking...

If it's like Columbus, I'll pass.. if it's like Chicago, now we're talking.

Tickets

Just got this in an email:

USC season tickets for $999.. the homes games are:
  • Ohio State
  • ASU
  • Oregon
  • Cal
  • Washington
  • Notre Dame
It may be worth the grand to sell the other tickets and make your money back.

There are 30 of them and if you buy 4 or more you'll have a season parking pass to use and sell with the rest.

Don't know exactly. Just know it connects with burbank airport which is where skybus flies into.

I have a feeling it would be like ones in cities like Chicago, and DC.

tickets will be about 60-70 face value, but those will be impossible to find so expect to pay up to $150.

If I were coming in I would not rent a car. You can get the FlyAway bus from LAX to Union Station which is downtown if you are staying there. There are plenty of nice restaraunts downtown or you can take the gold line train up to Pasadena which is a very cool, interesting city for $1.25.

Also expect to pay more than $40 to park so I would take the bus down to SC or walk if you are downtown. Its not very far, about a mile and a half
