Need help with Central Air

For some reason my central air has been very shakey lately. For some reason It will stop working after awhile, and can't hold the temperature. I think its just freezing up from working to hard. I try to keep my condo at 70 degrees, which I don't think is that cold, so I'm confused why it would be such a strain on the unit.
I hate paying people for something I can fix myselfIf anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.

I would check to make sure you have free air movement through the fins, make sure there are no leaves grass clippings etc...

Also, if your refrigerant is low, it will cause it not to cool real well and to freeze up. You will have to call a licensed guy to fill it though.

It's probably the clystron modulator.

I second that. We were having issues last summer with it not seeming very cold and the unit was actually leaking water in the basement. The repairman added some freon, or whatever it is called, hosed leaves and cottonwood off the unit on the outside of the house and we have been in good shape ever since. I think it was like $80 for everything.

I'd recommend calling a couple of places and just describe what is going on with the unit. They might be able to give a general idea to the problem.

Probably the flux capacitor.

Experienced similar problems. I fixed it with a new flux capacitor and made sure I greased up the cylindar bolts and straitened any kinks in the v-bat wiring.

edit: Thump you bastard, we've got the same model.

Most units have a damper that allows fresh air to mix in with the reciruclated air. You might want to make sure this damper is fixed so it only recirculates the already cool ~75 degree air instead of sucking in and mixing ~95 degree air with it.
