Need help with a summer job(s)

so i am in a situation at the moment, where i will have to find a job or jobs to work during the summer. i am a college student and i will be completely open this summer for work and need to earn a solid income for next school year. my question is do you have any suggestions on specific jobs and/or ways to find jobs that would be suitable for me to work during the summer months? i have checked the dispatch and lantern classifieds and researched a couple locations of interest but i have not seen anything of utmost interest yet. any help would be much appreciated. i will only be working during the summer months and then i will be going back to my current job in september.
 
Bouncer or Waiter at a decent club can make some decent cash if you're built for it, I know you're not into the idea of a Bartender so I am not going to recommend that one. Clubs are usually looking for extra staff during the summer as the college kids are usually out partying.

yea i was considering bartending because i could make a load of cash, but i am not too sure about that one as of yet. a waiter or server is still a choice of mine, although i have worked it before and you get some real shitty people, but i manage to deal with them. if i was hot with jugs i would just do that job. a friend of mine is trying out some modeling, and she started out as a server at the sugar bar downtown making near nothing in standard pay. the first night she worked was a friday night..........she made over $500 in one night as a server.:pissed:

i already worked there........and with that said it was the worst job i could of possibly had. i honestly had the worst job there, since i was a sorter and right at the front taking the waves of bags and packages. i stopped working there after winter quarter to keep my grades up since they are falling because of the irregular hours there. the job is pretty nice if you become a supervisor. you get a decent salary plus added tuition assistance. after i left there they screwed me out of my $1500 i was supposed to recieve in tuition assistance. needless to say i am not to pleased with them.

Any interest in spending 12-14 hours a day in the hot sun driving railroad spikes into the ground with a sledge hammer for $11-$12 an hour?

I do not believe that any of the emoticons available at BP can even begin to adequatley express (split infinitive noted) just how incredibly hilarious I found this quoted post.
