Husker with a Buckeye wife!
As many of you know, I landed here and became a member after the announcement that Nebraska was joining the B1G. My interest in the Bucks is due to my wife being an alum and former cheerleader (during Woody's days.)

When the news first came out, I told her at the time that it would be great to get to the first game in each stadium between our teams. We made it to Lincoln last October, due to some assistance from some Husker buddies in locating reasonable tickets.

I want to take her back to Columbus for this fall's game and see The Shoe for the first time myself. While I don't expect to get tickets for anywhere near face value, I also can't afford the $750/pair or more that I see on ticket resale sites.

If anyone has a pair of tickets they'd be willing to part with for a "reasonable" price, please contact me!

Thanks!

Good luck with your search. One thing that will help you is that Nebraska will probably be the 3rd best home game (on paper) for fans, behind MSU & Michigan.

You can easily get decent tickets for 250/pair from scalpers on your way to the stadium.

For 375 each, you should be getting 30 yd line A or C deck.

As I mentioned elsewhere, don't base your prices on stories or sales from last season. That was a bizarre year spoilied by sanctions.

Thanks, jwinslow, appreciate the info. $250 a pair is within my realm of "reasonable." The $375 ea (and up) prices are based on a couple quick checks of online ticket sites within the last week or so.

FWIW, that's about the same kind of prices I saw about this time last year when trying to get tickets to the game in Lincoln. Starting about a week before the game, and accelerating as game day and start time approached, the online prices seemed to collapse, and the night before you could get reasonable seats for well under $200/pair. I guess a lot of sellers are hoping to make a killing, and as game time approaches maybe reality sets in and they realize something is better than nothing!

Yeah, OSU has one of the lowest floors in CFB ticket pricing (excluding the tat-gate season), but even their big games will see the scalpers start dropping their prices closer to kickoff. There were posters who got into the Texas game about 15 min after kickoff for about $50, 1/10th of the going rate a few hours before. The same principle applies about 30-45 min before kickoff, just not as cheap.

Overall I would ask some posters to ask what the going rate was at the MSU game, as that should be a pretty good watermark for your pricing, if not a bit steeper than what Nebraska tix will go for (I have no idea if they'd ask more of a Nebraska fan since you're obviously not going to skip the game and head to the bar like Joe Buckeye from Columbus if the prices are too high).
