Hi, I?m new to the board here. Clearly I?m a Nebraska fan, but not the obnoxious type that like to talk smack about everyone else. Good-natured fan that loves college football! We are looking forward to venturing to your city and campus for the first time this year but we are still in need of 2 or 4 tickets (our wives might be just as happy to go shopping or something if we don?t get them tickets!). Any helpful hints on our time there would be appreciated.

Not going to be many tickets to be had for this game. I think your best bet may be stubhub or something like that. Avoid B deck, there are some awesome seats in B deck, but there are also some not so awesome, obstructed view, seats in B deck as well, so my advice would be to avoid it all together. D deck also can have the same problems, so I would avoid that too. The whole south stands and sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 are where the students sit. So I would avoid those sections too, unless you want to sit there. If you do get a student ticket, and ID is required, or the tickets can be upgraded so no ID is required, but that costs more money. In the past few years, it seems like a lot of the visiting fans have been put in sections 6C and 8C. If you can find a ticket in either of these sections, odds are you will be around a lot of other Nebraska fans.

Thanks so much for the information. I had heard/read some things about the B deck but had not heard it about the D also. I was wondering where the students sit and also the visitor sections. I cant wait!! Just about 3 weeks. I just hope Miller gets pulled after he runs for 300 on our D and then maybe we can have the same type of luck last year!:)

There are usually three sources that I look at:
Ebay
Stubhub
Ticketmaster resale

On ebay, you can often find that the seller has listed the same tickets for other games and check the feedback (sort of a check that the tickets are not a scam). Stubhub is always reliable, as is Ticketmaster. Nebraska tickets are lower priced than tickets to The Game, as usual.

Check the thread on seating in Ohio Stadium where you can figure out what the view from your seats - seatdata.

Since I only come in for a few games a year, I am not adverse to paying a bit of a premium. I usually try to get A deck, row 20 or higher (although lower seats can be fun as well) between the endzone (including the endzones, but not beyond them). I don't care for south stands because of the loud scoreboard, particularly if you sit high. Lower level C deck is nice as well.
