Hey guys and gals,

I will be flying in from vermont thursday night for the game. I bought a set of tickets on ebay for $270, 11A row 2 supposedly. Well this morning the lady emails me back saying that she made a "typo" and that they are really row 24 :( :( :( She said she will refund me the money, so I will have $270 in my paypal account. Anyways if anyone has 2 tickets, they can be student, doesn't matter in A/AA that they are looking to sell, please PM or email me. Thanks so much!
 
Its the point of the thing. If I would have known that they were indeed row 24, they would have sold for less for sure. The seller was also pushy about payment (she sent an email about 3 hours after the auction) saying that the game was soon (yeah 10 days at that point) and that i should meet my end of the deal, keep in mind this was hours after it ended. I used ebay for season tickets in 03, texas last year etc, and havent had a problem.

Anyways I am thinking of just geting a refund, but right now theres nothing that decent on there in the $300 range. I was hoping someone on here would have a nice set for sale.

Slightly off topic, but is anyone else finding it shockingly difficult to find tickets at a decent price? I know we are #1, but damn, I thought I'd be able to pick up 4 for $100 each, no chance that is happening now.

Anyone know any good options for tickets other than eBay (can't wait till day of)?

Wait for the first game to pass, and the hype to simmer a bit. If we beat Texas, prices will stay the same. If (heaven forbid) we lose, then they will fall considerably, because all the fair weather fans who got tickets for the season will try to unload their seats. It's the sad reality of suppy and demand.

When your preseason #1 some of the bandwagon fans have to dust off their Buckeye gear, and pony up the money to see them play, just so they can say that they did.

I wouldn't be complaining about those seats, especially considering the fact that you bought them on ebay (which is naturally higher). You may find better, but your going to pay much more. Why not show up to the game with those tickets.......and see what the tickets are going for the day of game. You may be able to trade up (with a scalper) for a minimal amount of money. If you don't, you've still got good tickets to fall back on.

she is probably willing to refund the money because she can make a shitload more money if she sells them again... I can't believe you aren't keeping the original tickets... we are talking what, 20 some rows??? :shake:

I'd love to, but living in the DC area limits how often I am up there, only looking like this weekend and for The Game at this point, lucky me :)

Row 24 is much better than row 2. Section 11A is in the end zone and you would have been able to see much better in the higher row seats. You should have kept them.

Thanks for the input guys. I spoke to the lady and asked for a partial refund and she said $10?! For 03 I had seats in 13AA row 9, and for texas last year I had 5AA row A (first row). My only problem is there is 170 sets of tickets on ebay and within the next couple of days, i didnt really see anything that was super special for under 300. I will end up having a good time for sure, doesnt really matter where they are. I am just angry that she didnt check.

Anyways, she said to let her know tomorrow and i will probaly end up geting them, maybe trading with a scapler (dad has a friend out there). GO BUCKS!
